Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Claimr Inc. (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use claimr (https://www.claimr.site) and related services.
1. What we collect
- Account data: email address, profile details you provide, and authentication identifiers from our auth provider.
- Dispute & case data: merchants, amounts, documents you upload, messages you send through the product, and agent-generated drafts and logs tied to your cases.
- Optional inbox connections (Gmail / Outlook): When you connect an account, we access email metadata and content only as needed to surface potential claims you have asked us to find (for example subject lines, snippets, and message bodies used by our “Hunter” / discovery features). We do not sell your email contents.
- Technical data: device/browser type, IP address, and cookies as described in our Cookies Policy.
- Billing: payment-related identifiers processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
2. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve claimr.
- Run dispute workflows, generate communications, and (when enabled) scan connected inboxes for refund opportunities you opt into.
- Send service emails, invoices, and (where allowed) product updates.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
3. Inbox scanning (important)
If you connect Gmail or Microsoft Outlook, you authorize us to retrieve messages and metadata through the OAuth scopes shown at connect time. Processing may include automated analysis (including machine learning) to detect merchant emails that may support a claim. You can disconnect at any time in Settings; we stop new access immediately, subject to reasonable backup retention below.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
We rely on contract (providing the service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, fraud prevention), consent where required (e.g. non-essential cookies), and legal obligation where applicable.
5. Sharing
We use subprocessors such as hosting, email delivery, analytics (if enabled after cookie consent), and AI/LLM providers to operate features you use. We share data with payment processors to collect agreed success fees. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.
6. Retention
We retain information while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute resolution. Backups may persist for a limited period after deletion.
7. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data. In the app, Settings → Privacy includes data export and account deletion requests. You may also contact support@claimr.site.
8. International transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).
9. Children
claimr is not directed at children under 16.
